Day 5
This was supposed to be posted on friday, but because of the homecoming football game, and dance, I wasn't able to get around to it till tonight. As you may recall, my goal was to take the VARK test. Well I did take it and it said I have a multimodal learning style. I guess that that means that I can learn pretty much anyway, or that I use all/most of them to learn new things. I do know that I picked more than one answer for most of the questions, so I feel that I should be doing all of those things to help me become a better person in my studies. I found the ones where you were doing something to be most of my first choices, and I like to learn by doing things. I think that it is easier, because if you keep doing it, it just kinda becomes like a second reaction. I hope this will improve my studies.

Basically, all that it means is that you're a good student. Take it again and this time put only ONE answer for each. Then look at where you score the highest.
ReplyDeleteYou're right though - I suspect you will turn out to be a kinesthetic learner - this is going to be tougher for you because it means you'll have to find practical ways to use the vocabulary words in order to remember what they mean. On the website, go to the section marked - SWOT - Study without tears and see what they recommend for your type of learning.
Keep reflecting - did you expect to be a kinesthetic learner? What does this mean for your other subjects?
I took the test again, and I did turn out to be a kinesthetic learner. For my other subjects I think that it'll not be to much of a problem because I can do math problems, and make historical diagrams for World Civilization. I feel that I will have trouble in English, one, because it is not my stronest subject, and two, I can't really physically do much in English. I am a pretty good student, with a sort of photographic memory in some subjects.
